ACT implements volunteering projects supported by the European Solidarity Corps programme.
🚀 Last week, from April 23 to 26, we had an amazing Kick-off Meeting in Finland, hosted by Allianssi Youth Exchanges Allianssin nuorisovaihto , together with our partner ELIX Elix/ Ελιξ- Προγράμματα Εθελοντικής Εργασίας from Greece 🇫🇮🇬🇷🇷🇴
The meeting focused on identifying common needs across our organisations and defining priority areas for the project development. 🤝✨
🗓️ The programme included:
✅ Overview of the project: aims, objectives, timeline, budget
✅ Clarification of roles and responsibilities
✅ Meeting the inspiring Finnish Peer Youth Group
✅ Finalising the needs assessment process
We are truly happy with the results and the collaboration among our teams! This energy and dedication sets a strong foundation for our journey ahead. 🌍💬

Hello I’m Luke from the small country of Denmark and a new volunteer. I’m 20 years old and I am currently taking a gap year after finishing high school. I love travelling, learning new things, playing video games with my younger siblings and I have a chronic sweet tooth.
I’m pleased to be working with such a great team, and I look forward to many good experiences here in Craiova, and of course doing meaningful activities with the school children 🤩
This week, as always, we have greatly enjoyed the workshops. At Energetic, we had a debate on the global phenomenon "Only Fans," a topic that is very current and important for raising awareness among young people. At SF Mina, one of our colleagues organized activities about the theme of the "Ramadan" festivity, where the students showed great interest in the topic and learned a lot. At Matei Basarab, one of our colleagues presented their experiences from trips made during their stay here in Romania. At Beethoven, as always, at the end of our activities, we leave time for dancing, as the students enjoy it very much and have a great time. At SF Vasile, we carried out activities to improve their writing and concentration skills, such as word searches and "spot the differences" activities, which they also enjoyed a lot. Finally, at the Autism Center, this week we joined the birthday party of one of the students and we did fun activities and ate cake. Having said this, as always, we are eagerly looking forward to next week to enjoy everything once again.❤️🥰😘

🌟 Yesterday, we had an insightful focus group with previous and current ACT volunteers as part of BOOST your potential project! 🚀💡
The focus group aimed to gather the needs of YWFO participants, exploring the challenges they face and how organisations can better support their learning process before, during, and after mobility projects. Through discussions and workshop activities, we identified key needs and strategies to enhance their experience.
This work will now be combined with an organisational needs assessment to research digital tools that can support YWFO learning processes based on these findings. 🖥️🔍
We’re now preparing for the kick-off meeting in Helsinki at the end of April—stay tuned as we continue to BOOST youth potential! 💪✨

Lansăm oficial proiectul „BOOST Your Potential”! 🚀
Suntem bucuroși să anunțăm lansarea oficială a proiectului BOOST Your Potential, un parteneriat pe termen de doi ani finanțat prin programul Erasmus+ al Uniunii Europene.
Această colaborare internațională reunește trei organizații dedicate lucrului cu tinerii:
🇫🇮 Allianssi Youth Exchanges (Finlanda – organizație coordonatoare)
🇷🇴 Asociația Comunități pentru Tineret (România)
🇬🇷 ELIX (Grecia)
Despre ce este vorba?
BOOST Your Potential are ca scop sprijinirea tinerilor cu oportunități reduse (YWFO) care participă în proiecte Erasmus+ și Corpul European de Solidaritate (ESC). Ne dorim să le oferim procese standardizate și de înaltă calitate de sprijin pentru învățarea non-formală.
Prin acest demers, urmărim consolidarea încrederii în sine a acestor tineri, cu potențialul de a le crește angajabilitatea și implicarea activă în societate.
Obiectivele noastre principale:
🔹 Consolidarea capacității organizațiilor partenere și a echipelor acestora în sprijinirea procesului de învățare al YWFO înainte, în timpul și după mobilitate.
🔹 Îmbunătățirea abilității tinerilor YWFO de a-și stabili obiective personale și de a-și recunoaște și comunica progresul în învățare în contextul mobilităților internaționale.
Rezultatele preconizate:
Până la finalul proiectului, ne propunem să obținem:
✅ Organizațiile partenere vor avea implementate instrumente și procese digitale standardizate de sprijin pentru YWFO.
✅ Personalul implicat va avea competențe sporite în susținerea învățării non-formale în proiecte internaționale.
✅ Tinerii YWFO vor avea abilități mai bune de auto-reflecție și comunicare a învățării pe durata mobilității.
✅ Proiectul va consolida capacitatea organizațiilor de a lucra în parteneriate europene și de a derula cooperări internaționale sustenabile.
Rămâneți alături de noi pentru noutăți, rezultate și resurse pe care le vom dezvolta pe parcursul proiectului. Împreună, construim o bază solidă pentru incluziunea și mobilitatea tinerilor în Europa! 💪🌍
